I bought this to charge up the Lithium ion battery I run in my Yamaha Roadliner, and glad I did! I had a parasitic power drain in my system, so if it sat more than a week the battery was too low to spin the starter.. This charges it up in less than 45min...which is a FAR cry from the 12-24hr charge times of a normal lead battery.I will say though....IF the battery has drained past a certain %, this will not "wake it up", i.e it won't charge, or won't reset the cutoff circuit that prevents the battery from completely depleting (which, apparently will unceremoniously kill a lithium battery dead, permanently). The trick I learned in this situation is to use a normal lead battery charger at first...apparently the amperage being pumped to the Lithium battery from the normal charger resets the circuit...something like that. Anyway, a normal charger will bring the charge up to 60-70% within 30min, and then I switch over to this to top it off (maybe another 15min), and I'm ready to roll.
